Christ says; “in the world you will have sorrow, but in me you will have joy”. You may ask yourself; how can I stop stealing? How can I stop smoking? How can I stop taking, selling, or injecting cocaine? How can I stop smoking or selling Indian hemp? How can I stop anger? How can I stop murmuring, complaining and backbiting? How can I stop fighting and cursing people? How can I stop drinking or selling alcohol? How can I stop working in breweries? How can I stop fornication (having carnal intercourse with opposite partner, kissing, caressing, and lusting after opposite sex)? How can I stop adultery (leaving your wife or your husband to another man or woman)? And as a woman, how can I stop painting my lips, putting extra nails, extra eyes, artificial teeth, wearing weavon, artificial hair, putting on trousers, short trousers, miniskirts, exposing my nakedness? How can I stop putting artificial things on my body as a man or woman? How can I stop prostitution? How can I stop going to native doctors, to witchcraft doctors, joining secret cults, joining occultism? Women, leave the devil with his nail cuttex, lipsticks, trousers for women, short trousers for women, weavons, artificial hairs, artificial eyes, artificial nails, make ups, men and women buying bleaching cream, they are all sins, lesbianism, masturbation, homosexuality, all these can never give you joy, if you really want joy. 

Come to the Prince of peace (JESUS CHRIST) and He will give you power to live above sin, He will cancel your name from the book of death and write your name in the book of life, He will give you power to live a holy and righteous life. The bible says that, when the ways of a man pleases the Lord, He will make his enemies to be at peace with him. If you are still living in sin, in the spiritual realm you are black because you have stained your soul. Those into double marriage (you marry and divorce) it is a terrible sin, you as a man, having second, third, fourth and fith wife and you as a woman living in a man’s house as second or third or fourth wife, it is a terrible sin, the bible says; one wife one husband. If you repent today and say bye bye to sin, eternal joy shall be your portion in Jesus name. God is calling you, live a life straight to God, without compromise, and you will surely have eternal joy, remember, heaven and hell are real, and where will you spend your eternity? WHEN IS YOUR DIVINE APPOINTMENT

An appointment is an arrangement to meet somebody at a particular time and place.
Dear friends and brethren,God by Himself has already arranged for you and I to meet Him at the end of our life at a time unknown to us.

This divine appointment with the Lord comes up in two ways,Firstly by death.Death can strike at any given age be it in childhood,youthful or old age which opens the door for individual to face God for judgement; According to Hebr 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto man once to die,but after this the judgement"God has warned everyone to be prepared at all times to meet Him for you don't really know when it shall be your turn,according to the book of Amos 4:12" Therefore thus will I do unto thee,O Israel and Because I will do this unto thee, Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel"

Having been Informed of this judgement,have you asked yourself what are you going to be judged on?In Rom 14:12"So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God"Also in 2Corth 5:10 "For we must appear before the judgement seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done the things done in his body according to that he hath done,whether it be good or bad".
The required account from everyone is based on ones work on earth as well as what you have done with your life,your body,time and so on.All these shall be weighed on God's Scale of righteousness and holiness"In Ecc 12:13-14"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter,Fear God and keep His commandment for this is the whole duty of man.For God shall bring everyone work into judgement with every secret thing whether it be good or whether it be evil"
The Second way of meeting this divine appointment is by rapture,This is for those whose accounts are balanced on God's Scale of righteousness and holiness-that are still alive at its occurrence.According to 1Thess 4:17 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the cloud,to meet with the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord" Also in the book of Dan 5:12 "Thou are weighed in the balance and art found wanting"My beloved,if you are weighed in the balance and are found wanting by reason of your lifestyle there is hope for you.All you need is repentance from sin,accept Jesus and live a holy life which will make this inevitable divine appointment sure pass to enter heaven after your judgment.

And so, are you among those that commit the sin of masturbation,homosexual,lesbianism these things are evil before God and if you refuse to repent today it will be terrible for you because our God is a Holy God and also a Consuming fire.
If only you can come to the Lord for mercy,and promise never to Go back to those sin anymore I am assuring you it shall be well with you.

Catholic members reject Priest’s move to allow females wear trousers

Port Harcourt—   An attempt to tamper with the dogmatic principle of dressing for female members not to wear trousers to the Catholic Church was put to test, Sunday, but was roundly rejected by the congregation of the Christ the King Catholic Church, Mile 1, Diobu, Port Harcourt, who shouted, No! No! No!

The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Akere, had asked the congregation whether the congregation felt that the wearing of trousers by female members to the church amounted to indecent dressing. He told the church that wearing of trousers to the church by women did not amount to indecent dressing.

“What amounts to indecent dressing is when you wear revealing clothes or you wear trousers to expose part of the body that should be concealed. Even some of you who tie wrapper and wear blouse, skirt and gown still expose your body that is what we call indecent dressing”.

At that point, there were loud murmurings, voices of the congregation were raised, denouncing the priest’s statement and even drowning his voice which blared from the many giant loud speakers that are positioned at the ceiling and outside of the church.

While the “war of words” between the priest and congregation roared, Fr. Akere came down from the pulpit and walked between the pews and asked them whether “if a female mobile police officer walked into the church in trousers”, she would be chased out.

Not done yet, he asked again whether the female Indian and Lebanese members of the church would be breaking the rule of the church if they wore trousers to the church. The congregation responded in anger and with shouts of “it is their culture and the police woman is only wearing her uniform.

When it appeared like the priest was going to bend the age-long rule about women not wearing trousers to the church, some members of the congregation started walking out, even when the Mass had not been declared ended. Fr. Akere then told the angry worshippers not to walk out on him because the final blessing had not been said.

However, in an apparent move to pacify the now tensed congregation, he said the church had not changed its position on women wearing trousers to Mass but that people should tolerate female visitors who wear trousers to the church because “the world is now a global village”.

While the “war of words” between the priest and congregation roared, Fr. Akere came down from the pulpit and walked between the pews and asked them whether “if a female mobile police officer walked into the church in trousers”, she would be chased out.

Rubbing it in, Fr. Akere then told the people that “the Catholic Church has not changed its rule; so, women must continue to tie wrapper, wear blouses and head tie as well as skirt or gown with the hair properly covered and not trousers. Now relaxed, the congregation then clapped and smiles played on the lips of both priest and members.

STRIVE TO ENTER

(Luke 13:24-30) Our Lord Jesus Christ, the embodiment of truth and love, demonstrated these wonderful attributes of truth and love to mankind by precept and practice. He spent much of His time teaching and educating His listeners the possibilities of either making heaven or missing it, and the reason for His teaching was that He came to show us the way to follow in order to make heaven at last. This He did, by showing His love toward mankind and the above topic is one of the statements He made concerning those who want make heaven, which at the end of His ministry, He sealed the teaching by offering Himself for mankind, to confirm the certainty of His truth so that no one will have any excuse for missing heaven. With the knowledge of what is obtainable in heaven, no one will like to miss heaven (Revelations 21:4-5, 22-25); and for the fact that every human being hates suffering, hunger, sorrow, etc. everyone will like to go to heaven, where there is no such things. Heaven is a beautiful and everlasting place of joy and so, everyone will like to be there (John 14:1-3; John 16:20-22; Mark 10:17).

So you must make sure to live a life that pleases God and not man nor for yourself, For Christ Jesus is holy..   Read your Bible

My washing machine in the house stopped working for two days just like magic, but I knew something was wrong somewhere, the second day I commanded the machine to work, but still it didn’t work, the second day, as I was washing the clothes with my hands, I began to talk to the Spirit of God saying: daddy, hand wash is really hard and this is not my portion" He replied and said "but in Nigeria you will have to hand wash so you have to get used to it now" in the evening, I felt so tired that I started crying, and the Holy Spirit said "Ester, do not cry, for I will make a way where there is no way", brethren, as I was sleeping this early morning (being the third day) in a vision, I saw the washing machine on, and when I woke up, the Spirit asked me to put it on, I put it on the first time, it didn’t work, He said "put it on for the second time" I put dirty clothes in the machine, I put it on, and lo and behold, just like magic, the machine started working again. PRAISE MASTER JESUS!!!!!!

THE FEAR OF GOD

"And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not." (Exodus 20:18-20). Read - Psalm 119:11

Did you watch the colourful independent Anniversary parades on the television? Did you notice the salute, honour and respect accorded to the President and the State Governors? The military officers, police and other security agencies had to show allegiance to the President because he is a symbol of the Country. Failure to comply amounts to insubordination to constituted authority and the result is sanction (that is punishment). It shows us that we must have the fear of God in our livers. If human beings can fear being punished, we must not entertain any act that is against the fear of God in our lives. The main reason people indulge in sin is because they lack the fear of God. Any man or woman that lacks the fear of God is as dangerous as demons. It is lack of fear of God that leads to adultery and fornication, it is lack of fear of God that gives people the boldness to commit sin willfully and appear in church the next morning to sing in the choir, serve as usher, engage in sanitation, do security work, teach or even preach. Our country is lagging behind in development because we do not have God fearing Leaders. We have churches that are not bold to preach against sin; and call sins by their names because they are afraid of losing their congregation.

When you have a friend that does not fear God, he or she will do things that are harmful - spiritually and physically, without hesitation. It is lack of fear of God that we have cultism, kidnappers, ritual-killers, prostitutes, robbers, '419ners' and even hypocritical believers. It is lack of fear of God that makes a born-again Christian to go late for fellowships and other church assignments. This is not healthy for our Christian life. Please change; if you are in this category.

Amen. For this God gave them up for dishonorable passion. For their woman exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise give up natural relation with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving themselves the due penalty for their Error..
And God gave an order in
Isaiah 30vs22 '' Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold plate metal images, You will scatter them as unclean thing, You will say to them ''Be gone''

You can see for your self that an image or an idol is an unclean thing before God and you can not place an image in remembrance of God or Christ Jesus.. And as Jesus christ warned us in 

Exodus 20 vs 4-5 '' Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of any thing in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shall not bow down thyself to them nor serve them, for the LORD thy GOD am a jealousy GOD, visiting the iniquities of the Fathers upon the Children unto the forth and third generations of them that hates me..
And you can see that those who do all this things hate God, there for be like the wise people as:
Act 17vs11 says '' There were more noble men those in thessalonica in that they believed the word with all readiness of mind and search the scripture daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honourably women which were greeks and of men, not a few...
You see what so ever you need try, look for them in the bible.. Save your Soul from the Evil thing of the world,. And as yo obey HE commandments HE will surely bless you beyound measure...

We all should know that the reason for our conversion is to make heaven; it is never for the earthly things. Everyone should understand that what matters in the Kingdom or in our midst is righteousness and to serve and obey God will all our heart and being (Matthew 7:21-23; Romans 14:17-19). When we allow ourselves to be carried away by the pursuit of the things of this world, it shows a sign of departure from God or backslidden (2Timothy 4:10; 1Timothy 6:8-10). We are commanded to run away from the love of the world, money, things that are in this world (1Timothy 6:11; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17). So, many who have not known this truth can easily be captured by the devil that is wise and too clever.

If your church is not preparing you for the RAPTURE, then they no longer need to see you arriving there for service.

THE GETAWAY

Living with an alcoholic and an abusive husband was an unending nightmare. As usual Gary was drunk and angry on top of that. I ran around this table--round and round I went, Gary at my tail, almost catching me. I ran faster and faster. Then he changed his direction to counterclockwise, hoping to trick me and catch me. But, I concentrated on the direction changes he made and changed my directions accordingly. My siblings and I used to do this a lot--chasing one another around a table back home years ago when we were playing. It was fun then; it was child play. But now, with Gary, it was a get-away-or-die situation.

I was out of breath, and I couldn't run anymore. I grabbed a chair and held it up as a buffer to shield him from me. The chair was heavy, and it accidentally fell on his face. This broke his glasses, and a piece of glass cut his face. He was bleeding profusely. While he tended his wound, I took advantage of the lull in the storm, and ran out of the house, got in the truck, and drove off. I had no destination in mind. I just wanted to get away.

In my haste to get away, I left the house without my son Michael. Where was Michael when Gary was chasing me around the table? I didn't remember seeing him anywhere. Now, I was worried sick. My stomach was hurting. My hands were shaking, and I was sweating heavily. If Michael were back at the house, there was no telling what Gary would do to him to get even with me. In the past Gary had spoken threats of what he would do to my son as a way to get back at me. These threats sent chills up my spine and made me realize that I was dealing with someone evil, someone possessed with demons.

Yet, I couldn't go home after what had happened. I knew Gary would kill me. I decided to stop at a phone booth and call the police. By now, the Police were very well acquainted with the abuse situation in our home. Just recently, they were at the house in response to a call from a concerned neighbor. Gary had been drinking and causing problems.

The Police came, three or four of them, with guns drawn and cautiously running for cover behind the mulberry trees--a scene that should be on the TV and movie screens, not in our front yard! They didn't know for sure if the madman in the house was armed. Crouched behind the safety of the mulberry trees, they pointed their guns at our house. I was scared that something would go wrong--that someone would make a wrong move, that the guns would go off, and someone would get killed. Gary didn't have a gun, and the Police didn't shoot, but the scene was frightening especially for a little kid who found himself caught in the middle of an abusive home situation and powerless to do anything about it.

I was carried away with my thoughts and failed to spot a phone booth. I would stop at the next one. I drove the truck slower concentrating on finding a phone booth. I was looking on both sides of the streets and careful not to hit the vehicle in front of me. There were no phone booths. I kept driving and thinking: 'Where are the phone booths when you need them?' I debated whether to turn back or drive on. I decided to drive on. After a while I spotted one up ahead on the left. I slowed the truck and turned in at a parking lot and parked the truck by the phone booth. My hands were shaking as I dug in my purse for coins. I got out of the truck and walked to the phone booth. "Mom, Mom!", a familiar voice was coming from somewhere. Again, "Mom, Mom!" I looked across the street. Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles it was Michael!

But what in the world was Michael doing across the street several miles from our house? I couldn't figure it out at the moment, but I let out a prayer of praise and thanksgiving. What a wonderful Heavenly Father I have. His proper timing--the right time and the right spot for me and Michael to meet--how incredible! How He orchestrates the events in our lives for our good is just phenomenal!

What had happened was while Gary was chasing me around the table, Michael was frightened that he would hurt me as he had done many times in the past. He ran to our church and academy several miles away to let, whoever he found there, know about the danger I was in at home.

I was so happy to have my son with me safe and sound. We hugged each other right there by the phone booth in the middle of downtown Yuma. While this had been just an ordinary day for most people in Yuma, it had been to us a most extraordinary day--a blessed and glorious day. We were basking in the sunshine of God's smile for He had so arranged every little detail of this saga to bring about our safe getaway and our glad reunion.

Testimony: I am thanking God for His instant healing upon my life. I am a movie director and a producer. On October 28, last year, one fateful night, I went to bed at about 8:00 p. m, before I could wake up the next morning, the broom I used to sweep the room the previous night had grown three mushrooms already. After that, I called some prayer warriors, they came to my house and prayed. After that somebody vowed that I will pack out of my house as a dead man. Two days later I became crippled and the man beat me. I did not beat back, I was in LUTH, I was in Great Man Medical Centre. I have been to some churches. In fact, I went to a particular church where they used fermented cassava water to bathe me and some other things. In fact, there are some mesmerisms I did not see here. I was baffled, marveled and surprised that in other churches where I went I went nothing happened. They took me to church, my mom was coming here but to be sincere with you, I didn’t like Chosen before. But within the time I was having this problem, during December, there was a programme held here, one of my brother here invited me but I gave excuses because I didn’t want to be here. When my mother came in that December, as she returned from the programme, she gave me the book, ‘Signs and Wonders of the Age’. Though I did not want to be here, I put my feet on the book because I need healing. Then there is a small girl ( Genivive Ifunanya) the mother might be here, she is a musician in my production house. They were in my house. She and her mother started disturbing me that I must be in this programme “ From Sorrow to Joy”. Last night I called my younger brother and complained to him that I was having serious pains. After that I started vomiting blood. I vomited a lot of blood last night. Suddenly I did not know where we were again. I didn’t know when we came here. When the prayer was going on, I woke up suddenly and saw this apron on my body, I was angry with my mother, moreover I saw that I was dirty, I pulled the apron off my body. Then when I pulled it off, I became unconscious again. I didn’t know where I was. After that my mother put the apron on me again. The only prayer point I heard was “ Those who cannot walk, drop your crutches.” Then another prayer point about confession of sins, I joined in the prayer but very far from here. I was hearing it but I didn’t know where I was. Later on, as they carried me up, I saw that I was shaking, they said I should not mind the shaking that power was in action- that I should start walking and I began to walk. Now, it is not only that I can walk, I can also run. Praise the Lord.

But the fact is, the truth must be reviewed, the Post it self was from a source and after much research, we found out it that the poster was right. You done need to be angry, all you need to do is site down, go through the post and the bible prove which is a backup representing TRUTH. When you compare the ROMAN CATHOLIC teachings and that of the HOLY BIBLE you would notice a big different.

Almighty, Everlasting God,
the Protector of all those who put their trust in Thee:

The Plain Truth about the Roman Catholic Church

The Roman Catholic Church claims to have started in Matthew 16:18 when Christ supposedly appointed Peter as the first Pope. However, the honest and objective student of the Scriptures and history soon discovers that the foundation of the Roman church is none other than the pagan mystery religion of ancient Babylon. While enduring the early persecutions of the Roman government (65-300 A.D.), most of professing Christianity went through a gradual departure from New Testament doctrine concerning church government, worship and practice. Local churches ceased to be autonomous by giving way to the control of "bishops" ruling over hierarchies. The simple form of worship from the heart was replaced with the rituals and splendor of paganism. Ministers became "priests," and pagans became "Christians" by simply being sprinkled with water. This tolerance of an unregenerate membership only made things worse. SPRINKLED PAGANISM is about the best definition for Roman Catholicism. The Roman Emperor Constantine established himself as the head of the church around 313 A.D., which made this new "Christianity" the official religion of the Roman Empire. The first actual Pope in Rome was probably Leo I (440-461 A.D.), although some claim that Gregory I was the first (590-604 A.D.). This ungodly system eventually ushered in the darkest period of history known to man, properly known as the "Dark Ages" (500-1500 A.D.). Through popes, bishops, and priests, Satan ruled Europe, and Biblical Christianity became illegal. Throughout all of this, however, there remained individual groups of true Christians, such as the Waldensens and the Anabaptists who would not conform to the Roman system. The Papacy and Priesthood In the Bible there are no popes or priests to rule over the church. Jesus Christ is our High Priest (Heb. 3:1; 4:14-15; 5:5; 8:1; 9:11), and all true Christians make up a spiritual priesthood (I Pet. 2:5). Jesus Christ has sanctified all Christians who believe on Him (Heb. 10:10-11), so all priests today are unnecessary and unscriptural. Furthermore, the practice of calling a priest "father" is forbidden by Jesus Christ in Matthew 23:9. There is only ONE mediator between God and men (I Tim. 2:5). The Catholic church teaches that Peter was the first Pope and the earthly head of the church, but the Bible never says this once. In fact, it was Peter himself who spoke against "being lords over God's heritage" in I Peter 5:3. Popes do not marry, although Peter did (Mat. 8:14; I Cor. 9:5). The Bible never speaks of Peter being in Rome, and it was Paul, not Peter, who wrote the epistle to the Romans. In the New Testament, Paul wrote 100 chapters with 2,325 verses, while Peter wrote only 8 chapters with 166 verses. In Peter's first epistle he stated that he was simply "an apostle of Jesus Christ," not a Pope (I Pet. 1:1). The Roman papacy and priesthood is just a huge fraud to keep members in bondage to a corrupt pagan church. The Worship of Mary Roman Catholics believe that Mary, the mother of Jesus, remained a virgin after the birth of Jesus and was sinless all of her life. She is worshiped in the Catholic church as the "Mother of God" and the "Queen of Heaven." St. Bernard stated that she was crowned "Queen of Heaven" by God the Father, and that she currently sits upon a throne in Heaven making intercession for Christians. The Bible teaches otherwise. In the Bible, Mary was a sinner just like the rest of us. She said herself that she needed a "Saviour" (Lk. 1:47), and she even had to offer a sacrifice for her sins in Luke 2:24. Jesus was only her "firstborn" son, according to Matthew 1:25, because she later had other children as well (Mt. 13:55; Gal. 1:19; Psa. 69:8). There's only ONE mediator between God and men, and it isn't Mary (I Tim. 2:5). The last time we hear from Mary in the Bible she is praying WITH the disciples, not being prayed to BY the disciples (Acts 1:14). The Bible never exalts Mary above anyone else. Neither should we. Purgatory The Catholic Church teaches that a Christian's soul must burn in purgatory after death until all of their sins have been purged. To speed up the purging process, money may be paid to a priest so he can pray and have special masses for an earlier release. This heresy began creeping into the Roman Church during the reign of Pope Gregory around the end of the sixth century, and it has no scriptural support. In fact, Jesus warned us about this pagan practice in Matthew 23:14 when He spoke of those who devoured widows houses and made long prayers for a pretence. Psalm 49:6-7 tells us that a person couldn't redeem a loved one, even if such a place did exist: "They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:" Peter addresses this issue in Acts 8:20 when he says, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money." God's word is clearly against the doctrine of purgatory. The Mass By perverting the Christian practice of the Lord's Supper (Mat. 26:26-28; I Cor. 11:23-27), the Catholic Church has created the Mass, which they believe to be a continual sacrifice of Jesus Christ: "Christ...commanded that his bloody sacrifice on the Cross should be daily renewed by an unbloody sacrifice of his body and blood in the Mass under the simple elements of bread and wine." (The Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 10, Pg. 13, Article: "Mass, Sacrifice of") Jesus never made such a command. If you'll check the above references in Matthew 26 and I Corinthians 11, you'll see for yourself that the Lord's Supper is a MEMORIAL and a SHOWING of Christ's death until He comes again. It is not a sacrifice. The Catholic Encyclopedia states the following: "In the celebration of the Holy Mass, the bread and wine are changed into the body and blood of Christ. It is called transubstantiation, for in the Sacrament of the Eucharist the substance of bread and wine do not remain, but the entire substance of bread is changed into the body of Christ, and the entire substance of wine is changed into his blood, the species or outward semblence of bread and wine alone remaining." (Vol. 4, pg. 277, Article: "Consecration") The Catholic Church teaches that the "Holy Mass" is a LITERAL EATING AND DRINKING OF THE LITERAL FLESH AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. The priest supposedly has the power to change the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ. Now, what does God's word say about such practices? If you'll read Genesis 9:4, Leviticus 17:11-12, and Acts 15:29, you will find that God absolutely FORBIDS the drinking of blood all through the Bible. Rome teaches that the Mass is a continual "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ, but God's word states that Jesus made the FINAL sacrifice on Calvary! This is made perfectly clear in Hebrews 10:10-12: "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God." The mass is unnecessary and unscriptural. Image Worship The Catholic religion is filled with all sorts of symbols, images, and relics. The Catechism of the Council of Trent states these words: "It is lawful to have images in the Church, and to give honor and worship unto them..." It's lawful to honor and worship images? Not according to God's word. Exodus 20:4-5 says, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me." Image worship is unscriptural and will end with the eternal damnation of those who practice it (Rev. 14:11). Salvation by Works Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9) "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5) Jesus Christ came into this world to lay down His sinless life for YOU--to pay for your sins, because you couldn't. Jesus is your only hope for salvation. Only by receiving Him as your Saviour can you enter the gates of Heaven. There is no other way. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6) The Lord Jesus Christ has come and PAID for your sins by shedding His own Blood on Calvary. By receiving Him as your Saviour, you can be WASHED from all your sins in His precious Blood (Rev. 1:5; Col. 1:14; Acts 20:28; I Pet. 1:18-19). Notice these important words from Romans 5:8-9: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Jesus Christ PAID your way to Heaven for you! By receiving Him as your Saviour, you will be receiving God's ONLY means of Salvation for you. Are you willing to forsake YOUR righteousness and receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour, your ONLY HOPE for Salvation? Romans 10:13 says, "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Are you willing to forsake your own righteousness, and trust Jesus Christ alone? He will save you just as He promised. Why not receive Him today and trust Him to give you a better way of life?
